Yes, TakingITGlobal can help me to achieve some of my goals; actually it has already. TIG has provided me with an outlet to express my ideas to young people worldwide. I am able to learn about other cultures by getting involved in projects. That helps me to see what other youth are doing out there. I belong to the Sindh [culture], which is made up of a community of loving and caring people. Actually, it was in my Sindh village where an older man first inspired me. He was known [in my village] for helping others without asking for anything in return. One day I asked this man, “why do you help others without asking to be compensated”? Jag blir inspirerad av alla människor som jobbar för förändring. Allt från elevrådsaktiva i Avesta till de orangea revolutionärerna i Ukraina. Jag uppskattar mycket att sitta och prata med en person som verkligen gjort skillnad.
När man arbetar med förändringsarbete, så är inspirationen enormt viktig. Att känna att man faktiskt kan nå sina drömmar och göra världen till en bättre plats är enormt häftigt. ( read more)
